| Hi guys!
Just thought of raising this topic of discussion with all of you. What do you think of the current line-up of superheroes in Gotham City? Do you think there are just too many or do you think it should be maintained or perhaps increased? Below is the current line-up. If I've left anyone out, please do add to the list.
Batman (Bruce Wayne)
Batman (Dick Grayson)
Robin (Damien Wayne)
Red Robin (Tim Drake)
Batwoman (Kate Kane)
Batgirl (Stephanie Brown)
Huntress (Helena Bertinelli)
Oracle (Barbara Gordon)
Catwoman (Selina Kyle)
Manhunter (Kate Spencer)
Azrael (Michael Lane)
Question (Renee Montoya)
Ragman (Rory Regan)
Simon Dark
*Not sure if I should put in 'The Outsiders' because technically they are not really based in Gotham. There are also some reformed villains turned crime fighters which I'm not sure whether to include in the list above. |

| Considering the amount of Rogues in Gotham, that list is about right. Compared to Metropolis, Star City, & Coast City though, I think there are way too many. I wonder if you (or anyone else for that matter) knows if Gotham is DCU's largest city or if Metropolis is bigger? |

| I'm with you Vulture... I think it's just the right amount. I completely forgot about Ragman and Simon Dark, so personally I think they need to go. In fact I think Ragman works better as a villain.
The best addition to Gotham has been Manhunter. Kate Spencer as DA works perfectly and hope she makes an appearance in the movies soon. |

| Thanks! With the list you produced on Gothamites, it just had me wondering since Metropolis's list would be smaller. Given, Superman is in Metropolis, so maybe not as many heroes are needed, but it seems 1/2 of his adventures take place outside the city whereas Batman's usually stay within the city limits. |

| That's true, I never thought about that....Superman really does often go outside of Metropolis to chase down the baddies, whereas Batman almost never leaves.....Makes sense though, since Batman is human and most of his villains stay in Gotham too.

| I guess if you've got Superman, Superboy, Supergirl and Krypto in the same area, Superman can safely take care of the outer space missions and not worry about Metropolis too much lol. |

| I have two lesser known Heros based in Gotham.
1. Abuse: from streets of gotham
2. Baphomet: from kevin smiths widening gyre
These are both really cool heros that have recently emerged in Gotham. |

| I'm still not use to those guys. Abuse seems the better out of the two, but come on - does Gotham need anymore protectors?

I thought Abuse was a great new character ... absolutely loving the Street of Gotham series (except for the Manhunter side series ... she is probably my least favourite addition to Gotham) |

| I for one actually kinda liked Baphomet too. I doubt he'll ever be used in anything else in the future, but I thought he was pretty refreshing.
