Fan Letter Thread

If you would like to share your thoughts, feedback or rants with us in the Chronicles, then post your Fan Page letters here. We will try and get as a many of the letter in each edition as we can and hope you enjoy what we are doing here at Gotham Knights Online Chronicles.

Wow...I was just playing around and you gave me a real compliment lol. Thanks a lot man, it wasn't a problem. If it wasn't for you, GKO wouldn't be here and I wouldn't have so much fun doing stuff for the site each week. So cheers to you, Bob.

(This is pretty much all from my post in the PODCAST thread probably works better posted here)

So I'm pretty new to GKO. I've also downloaded all the podcasts and am currently listening to all of them in order (I'm currently up to #15 I think). Mainly 'cause I've just recently (within the past 2 years) been reading all the more popular Batman novels: The Long Halloween, The Return of the Dark Knight, Hush not to mention a lot of Batman and DC reference books I've threw myself into. Not to say I'm new to Batman or anything DC. Just about as far as I can remember I've loved Batman. Probably since I was 5. Batman Returns got me into Batman as a kid. Soon after the Animated Series pretty much took over my whole day after I got home from school. Watch the episode and then go outside and pretend I'm Batman all day lol. I never was really exposed to the comics or any other Batman material aside from the movies and the animated series. I lived in a really small town and never had any money either. But I've always sort of known what was going on in the comic world but never really knew, ya know?. So that's why I'm listening to all the podcasts in order 'cause I'm trying to catch up. "Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader?" was what I was reading right before I stumbled across this site (which was not long ago). Also I really love how you guys are very knowledgeable about all the new and old Batman stories. It's all pretty geeky and I don't think any of us would argue on that one but it's a very fun thing to have as a hobby and I'm glad to have guys like you inform me of what I don't know. I'm trying to catch up though. I'm starting from Batman R.I.P. and working my way up through that whole saga. Can't wait to dig deeper into all this though. Thanks for doing what you do guys. Also all the interviews that you guys do are my favorite. I love all the insights from everyone in the industry. Really fascinating. So thanks for Gotham Knights Online!

Glad you have you onboard and that your loving the site - it sounds like your not to far how I was when I was younger. Movies, animated series and running around most of the day playing Batman - good times.

I'd like to think we know our stuff, but if we did I don't think it'll be as fun as it is, discovering new stuff and sharing our passion for Batman. It doesn't get any geekier than this lol.

You've still got a hell of ride ahead of you with the Batman comics - I'm jealous, I wish I was back in your shoes reading these stories again for the first time. Good luck with Batman R.I.P.

It might also be a good idea to reserve a small space for the 'Bat-Toon' comic strip in Chronicles. The sooner Jack(artist) contributes, the sooner it can be put in there.

I'll try. I don't want to push Jack(our new artist) too much since he's our new GKO member. Just need to give him some time to work his magic. Hopefully, the 'Bat-Toon' strip will be ready in time for Chronicles #3, if not #2.

Hi Bob,

I thought of something interesting for GKO Chronicles. How about we include a Batman Trivia Game in the Chronicles? Sort of like quiz-like game to test all of us on how much of a Batman fan we are, and we can have a score/rating to see how many questions we answer correctly.

I was thinking about a 20 question trivia, not too much and not too little. It'll be good to get fans to interact more with GKO Chronicles rather than just reading about it.

What do you think Bob?

I've got the chronicles on hold at the moment - just not enough time. I'm hoping to start this up again soon - maybe look at doing a Christmas edition or something.
