Batman Earth One

Does Anyone Know when Batman Earth One is due out?

No release date has been put out anywhere. We do know Superman: Earth One is listed on Amazon as coming out on November 2, 2010, and is 136 pages, so we can expect Batman: Earth One to probably come out sometime after that. Right now, that's all we know.

Yeah, I saw that too, and it is weird. I wish we had more information, but there's really no definitive answer out there. Any of the sources could be wrong, but I'm guessing the Superman: Earth One is probably gonna come out end of October/Early November (although I found one that quoted an early/mid September date). Beyond that, though, we really don't know much; and we know next to nothing about Batman: Earth One's release. They say it's supposed to come out in 2010, but that's about all we know so far.

They've been playing the same game with DCUO's release date, and it annoys the heck outta me.

Yeah, I'm really excited for DCU. Just wish we had more info. Wasnt it suppose to come out in 2009 at one point?! haha

If Batman: Earth One comes out in December 2010, it will definitely be a great Christmas gift! I curious to find out how Geoff Johns writes a Batman story. Art wise, you can never go wrong with Gary Frank. This is one book that I'm eagerly looking forward to.

Darkblade79: Me too! Yeah, I think at one point it was fall '09, then holiday season '09, then spring/early 2010 and now they're saying fall/late 2010. I really hope it doesn't get pushed back into '11, I'm really excited for it. Gamestop has it for pre-order, but they still don't have a date. Plus it's companion series, DCUO Legends! I like the idea that players from the game can be written/drawn into the book!

AndrewT: Indeed! I dunno about you guys, but I'm excited for the Superman: Earth One too. Both neat concepts, it reminds me of an Elseworlds series called "Realworlds" from 2000 or so.

Superman: Earth One will be solicited next month and will be released in August. I'm hoping Batman: Earth One will be solicited in July for a September release. I can't wait to get a copy! The suspense is killing me.

I read an interview geoff johns gave about batman earth one. He says that in it he's looking at the biginning of batman, and that its going to be about emotions, and how you overcome loss. GJ also says that he wants to explore Gordon and batman relationship in a different way. Alfred is going to be very different he's going to explore what Alfred is where he comes from and what he represtnts to bruce.
