PSN ID/X-Box Live Gamertag/Etc.

Hey everyone;

Just thought it'd be cool that if you have one of the gaming consoles (and pay for online gaming, if you have the X-box 360) you can meet up/play with some of the other people on here.

I have a PS3, and my PSN ID is "TheTopWop". There's a Wii at my parents' house I play sometimes, but I forget the friend code for that one. I can look it up if someone wants to play, though.

My user name for the 360 and the PS3 is the same one I use here. The PS3 one is just a little different.

Cool. I actually made a mistake on my PS3 ID. It's JKnight5, not jknight5. Not sure if the caps make a difference when adding a friend, but i thought would mention it.

I'm still debating on what system to get DCUO on. MMO'S usually play better on PC. But it's more convenient to play them on consoles.

Have you tried the beta? If you haven't, you probably should. I know my friend, who is a HUGE PC/MMO gamer, was frustrated with it because the controls weren't apparently done the same way as normal MMO's and it was confusing and awkward for him. You should try out the PC beta for yourself, I can give you my key if you want to try (it might still work). I'll let you all know how the PS3 Beta is once I FINALLY GET IT DOWNLOADED. My internet speed here is horrible...at the rate it's going, it's going to take just over two whole days left on non-stop to finish.

I haven't personally tried the PC beta yet, but my brother did, and he likes it a lot. He actually uses an adapter that lets him use his 360 controller, and he said it works well. I'll probably end up doing that if I get the PC version. I really don't want to get to much into the beta, because I don't think your character or stats will transfer over to the actual game when it comes out. So I'll probably just try my brothers character for bit. Thanks for the offer though on the beta key.

I look forward to hearing your take on the PS3 beta. That sucks about your internet speed though. My connection on the PS3 isn't that great either. It takes forever sometime for me just to download some updates.

It finally finished this morning, hopefully I'll have a chance to play it tonight!

And that's an interesting idea, playing it on the computer with a console controller. I thought what made those games better on a PC though was that the keys give you so many more options and whatnot though?

I believe you can use the keyboard along with console controller as well. I guess it comes down to your own preference, but I prefer to use a controller and keyboard, rather then a mouse and keyboard.

Oh, so you basically use the controller as a mouse? That's what I thought, with the PC beta, that the controls would be better with a controller. I guess that's true...

Ok, so I've played the PS3 Beta a little bit now, and it's a LOT better than the PC for me. I much prefer using the controller than a mouse. But other than that, it's basically the same, as far as I can tell. I like it!

That's good! I think I'm leaning towards getting the PS3 version. A few of my friends say they are going to get the PS3 version, so its good to know that you thought the PS3 was good.

I was surprised to see the release date as January 11th. I didn't expect it to be so soon! Only a few more weeks!

I mean, as far as I can tell it's the same otherwise. It took a minute or two to get used to the controls for the powers and menu and all that, but I think it's a lot easier (at least for me) on the console.

I know, I was expecting March! I've got my special edition PS3 copy pre-ordered at Gamestop, I'll totally be getting it at midnight!
