| Just wondering what people's favourite era's were to read? Personally I loved the late 80s and the 90s even though they are vilified by many, so my vote falls with Copper. I do love the Modern Age books but nostalgia rules my head and my heart when it comes to comics! | |

| Copper age without a doubt - its one of my best childhood memories. Escaping with those comics when I was a teen - priceless memories.

| I too, went for the Copper age. I loved the 90's comics, there was just something different about them that we don't still have today.

| I love late 80s and early 90s comics, it was Spiderman and X-men that made me love that era, but that Batman era was definitely my favorite to date The colours, illustrations and stories were the best ever, and it was the animated series that made me turn to the comics from that time
Having said that, I accidentally clicked on modern since I didn't know that era was called Copper

| It's Silver Age for me guys!
I remember visiting a friend and his dad has all this Silver Age comics stored in his bookshelf. I used to enjoy reading his Batman books. I would visit him on the weekends and we would just sit and read all those comic books. My friend's mom would prepare sandwiches for us.....man! I missed those days!
That was the time I was introduced to the Batman, Robin, Batgirl, Catwoman, Joker and all the other villains.

| That's a neat story, Andrew!
I'm intrigued by the fact that there are 4 people who voted "Modern Age", yet none of them have said anything (except Matt, who did it on mistake). Hmm...

-Gary Yeah you're right, I was in a hurry I enjoyed the comics from the seventies during my childhood. These stories are very near and dear to my heart, however I am loving the diversity of the modern age. In batman by morrison you get to read an epos that intends to explore batman psychologically. In detective by Dini we got excellent detective stories and the exploration of batman/Bruce Wayne through his relationships to other heroes and friends. And in streets of gotham we experience gotham through the eyes of the so called supporting characters or through the mean eyes of various villains. Further we experience girl power in the shape of catwoman, harley and poison ivy in gotham city sirens. In addition we also gaze with delight upon the pages of batman confidential, batman and robin, red robin, outsiders and much much more. So there are not only a lot of bat books but also various interpretations of batman each and every month, much to my delight
