| It's true, they're total opposites. By the time I got into comics though Cass was basically gone, so I never really had a chance to get into her except for reading an issue here or there in the supermarket. And yeah, Helena/Huntress was Batgirl for a bit in No Man's Land, I believe. Which was were Cassandra was introduced, and that's the only real exposure I have to her - before she was Batgirl.

- I remember that movie when I was little. It scared me, Mr. Freeze did at least. I like the color of her Batgirl costume though, deep black-purple with that silver belt and bat symbol, correct? It popped. I don't remember much of the acting or story.. I remember Poison Ivy and Mr. Freeze...
Yes and it was the only Batgirl costum with nipples (thank you Joel Schumacher). - Quote :
- Wasn't the Huntress a Batgirl for a few issues?
From wikipedia.org Eleven years after the editorial retirement of Barbara Gordon as Batgirl, a new version of the character was introduced in Shadow of the Bat #83 during the maxiseries Batman: No Man's Land (1999).[12] In Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight #120 (1999), the new Batgirl is revealed to be Helena Bertinelli, an established DC comics superhero alternatively known as the Huntress.[13] Bertinelli is eventually forced to abandon the mantle by Batman.[14] After reclaiming her identity as the Huntress, Bertinelli later joins Oracle's Birds of Prey, becoming the second former Batgirl to be on the team's roster

| As hated as those movies are, I really like the Robin costume they did for Batman Forever, with the Red - and even as a kid I never liked the silver/chrome on the costumes in Batman and Robin. Here's a pretty cool sculpt I found of the Batgirl costume from that movie, showing how the silver pops on that outfit. I'm not sure what I think about the bats on the legs...I either love or hate them, but I can't tell. I did like this Batgirl costume from the Birds of Prey series too; -Gary | |

Aha, wasn't that the director who was homosexual too? I remember he got a lot of beef for doing the nipple thing. A lot. - iod1974 wrote:

It seems to always answer my questions! Hee. - gallegra wrote:

I know what you mean, it goes with the costume, then again it feels out of place, somewhat awkward. I think it bothers me because it's silver on black, so you are strained to focus on her thighs, but it's a unique touch nonetheless. I like it. I give it a 3.5 out of 5 in weird originality.

| Yeah, he's gay. Apparently he was referencing Greek sculpture with the suits (having the nipples and codpieces), and also made a lot of homosexual references within the two movies.
And wikipedia does answer questions...but nothing beats a comic nerd! haha

| Got this off wikipedia also Many observers accused Schumacher of adding possible homosexual innuendo in the storyline.[5] James Berardinelli questioned the "random amount of rubber nipples and camera angle close-ups of the Dynamic Duo's butts and Bat-crotches."[31] Similar to Batman Forever, this primarily included the decision to add nipples and enlarged codpieces to Batman and Robin suits. Schumacher stated, "I had no idea that putting nipples on the Batsuit and Robin suit were going to spark international headlines. The bodies of the suits come from ancient Greek statues, which display perfect bodies. They are anatomically erotic."[5] Chris O'Donnell, who portrayed Robin, felt "it wasn't so much the nipples that bothered me. It was the codpiece. The press obviously played it up and made it a big deal, especially with Joel directing. I didn't think twice about the controversy, but going back and looking and seeing some of the pictures, it was very unusual."[5] Batgirl was given a similarly designed suit. George Clooney joked, "Joel Schumacher told me we never made another Batman film because Batman was gay".[32] Clooney himself has spoken critically of the film, saying "I think we might have killed the franchise",[33] and called it "a waste of money".There is a whole article called Homosexuality in the Batman franchise http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homosexuality_in_the_Batman_franchiseBatman and Robin being gay were a big issue in the 1950's when they were having Congressional hearings and trying to ban comic books. A psychiatrist named Fredric Wertham put out a book in 1954 called Seduction of the Innocent , that warned that comic books were a cause of juvenile delinquency. He put alot of stuff in it about Batman and Robin being gay and that Wonder Woman had a bondage theme. The Wonder Woman stuff was true, but for most people in the 50's it went over their heads. But as George and Jerry say -Not that there is anything wrong with that. | |

| I remember that book. There's a website too, that shows all the panels from the comic books that were questionable, http://superdickery.com/It's a safe site, by the way. It makes me laugh, and I really cock my head to side when I read certain things. What were these writers thinking about? As well as the artists? | |

| That stuff's all funny, I love seeing those old comics. It's true though, there was a lot of questionable content in early comics.

| Lego Batman was great. It was fun unlocking, and using all those different characters. I hope they make a sequel. It would be cool to have new characters like Damian as Robin, Red Robin, and a Lego professor Pyg would just be awesome! | |

I think LEGO would do that. I mean, they did with LEGO Star Wars Episodes 1 to 3000. So I think LEGO Batman will have a shot. I heard they sold a lot and it made them some profit, it would be the next step for them as a company to do so. And it's not as if Batman could run out of ideas for a game. | I would love to see them do a sequel to this as well. Though I doubt they'll do a Professor Pyg one, though--it'd just be a step away from doing a Victor Zsasz Lego figure.

For me, I demand more Killer Moth.. I wish there really was 3000 episodes of Star Wars! But you're right, there are plenty of ideas they can use for another Lego Batman game. Maybe when The Dark Knight Rises comes out we'll get a sequel.

What do you mean? Pyg's pretty much a homicidal, obese deviant who gave a strip-tease to a 10 year-old boy. I doubt they could do that character right while still keeping an E for everyone rating.
