| Streets of Gotham 17 was great. I loved how Catwoman called Batman Dick and then Bruce was just like" Selina, it's me." and then they started making out. It was a very solid story overall. I had been unimpressed with Paul Dini the last year or so, but I felt like he had a strong showing with this one. | |

| Well then, I can't wait to read it. The semester's almost over for me, once it is I'm going to take a few days and read ALL of the back issues I've missed.

| Oh- sorry- didn't mean to give out any spoilers. The art and story were great so I'm sure you will enjoy. Good luck with the end of the semester, I remember that pressure. | |

| The current story-arc is actually pretty good; writing the backstory of when Bruce's parents met is interesting. | |

Don't worry, I'm sure I'm the only one who hasn't read it yet, and you didn't give the whole story away or anything. And thank you, I appreciate it! -Gary

I think what you meant to say was Batman Confidential. I dont think I'm gonna drop it yet. For one, I'm sure it will get better as evidenced in past issues (at least for me), and Two because I really really like Dustin Nguyen's art and covers. But hey if you dont like it you dont like it.

| Speaking of which, I haven't read Confidential in a while either but I hope it gets better too. I like the idea, each one being a classic Batman story.

| Hahaha, true. It's a great idea that just hasn't been used well most of the time so far.

That was great--though what really got me was Selina knocking Harley back out so that she could continue their make-out session. But don't worry about dropping this book after this arc--honestly, I'm pretty sure this book is cancelled as soon as they finish this House of Hush arc.

| We've been wondering for a while how long some of these books (Streets, Sirens, and Azrael in particular) were going to last, it'll be interesting to see what survives.

-Gary Well, recently there was an interview with writer Peter Calloway, who's now on Sirens, and he was talking about where the book would be going over the course of the next year, so that's probably safe at least for that long--same with Azrael. However, we haven't heard anything about Streets--and Dini seems to have become very busy, and Nguyen's on a new book, so...

| Why would you assume Azrael is safe? Did you read/hear something, or are you just guessing? Because I haven't heard anything about how it's selling or if it's sticking around, so I'm a bit worried it might be on the chopping block with all the new bat-books we have lately.

-Gary Because Hine was interviewed about it in October: - Quote :
- Nrama: Will the Azrael comic end in December? Or does it evolve past this issue?
Hine: Hmm, that’s a point. We haven’t solicited past December yet have we? Will Batman solve the mystery? Is Michael Lane really dead? Will sales pick up with a major guest appearance from the Man in the Cowl? Nah, I’m just teasing. The last four-issue run with Guillem March on art has been very well-received. Guillem has done the very best work of his career on it, and the art I’ve seen so far from Cliff Richards on the new arc is also fantastic.
I think we have a really solid book. It’s very difficult to reverse a downward trend in sales, but we have some very faithful fans out there who are spreading the word, and I’m hoping that will translate into stronger sales in the coming months. Azrael is a fascinating character and I have plotted an outline for at least the next year.

| Well, according to the March solicits, I was two for three. Sirens is still going, Streets is being cancelled once the Heart of Hush sequel is finished, but Azrael is being cancelled. | |

| Streets of Gotham #17 was a great issue. I loved the reunion of Selina and Bruce. There is interesting and creepy villian name Bedbug ha,ha.
It had fun stuff with Harley with a Bazooka in the Siren's home and Selina knocking her out to kiss Batman. Batman also had fun taking picture of Penquin acting like a zombie. This issue had great art, good story and fun stuff.
I loved the issue. Hope to see more on Hush as well in future issues.
