Guilty Gear, King of Fights, Soul Caliber, Stree Fighter, Dead or Alive...

I always wondered, since are so many fighting games out there, which is the most popular.

And list if you chose "other" in the poll!

I put "other" because I think I'd have to say Mortal Kombat. One of my other faves, Marvel vs Kapcom, wasn't there either (although I totally dug me some Street Fighter as a kid too). Some of you might lose some respect for me now, but in recent years I kinda like the Dragonball Z fighting games...but just because I love going Super Saiyan and totally kicking butt.

How could I forget listing that game.. Hah. That game was so controversial when it first came out. It definitely shook the world of gaming. And the unleashed the world of rating games... Ugh.

DBZ games are hard. You can't just button-mash those game. You have to learn the combos! Sheesh! I quit playing DBZ.. I got so mad. Haha!

Isn't there a DC vs. someone, too?

Yeah, that's why I don't play them much...I only really play for a little bit until I go Super-Saiyan, do the ultimate beam attack and win...then I go do something else haha.

Yeah, it's actually Mortal Kombat vs DC, and it's pretty cool. Just came out a year or two ago...

I'm a fan of the Super Smash Bros games, I love how you can play as classic Nintendo characters and fight each other.

Great stuff! I loved that game. 64 was great, the Gamecube version was amazing, and Brawl was alright, but man... What a fanatic's dream come true.

I know I might get some flak here, but I wasn't a huge Nintendo fan...I got a Sega Genesis growing up, and then skipped straight to the Playstation. I had a 64 at one point, but only with a wrestling game and Superman64 (which sucked). I actually have Brawl which I play sometimes on my Mom's Wii when I'm home, but that's it.

I grew up with the old nes and I didn't get an updated Nintendo until the n64 came out. I don't play much games these days besides the Zelda series, the Pokemon series, and some sports games.

Yeah. I never got into Halo and Call of Duty.. awful games. All they want is your money.
I grew up with the SNES and didn't know other gaming consoles existed until I became sociable in middle school, haha. I was a shy little girl. Then I got a gamecube, now I have a PS2 and a Wii. And I'm not complaining.

All I play anymore is Kingdom Hearts, the occasional Pokemon game, and tons of Metroid. Nothing's appealing anymore.

I have been meaning to play Kingdom Hearts 2, because I love Tron and wanna see the Tron world.

Oh man. I'm playing II at the moment. The Tron world gave me a headache from all the lights. It was so futuristic and the mini-story they tell you gives you a headache. Hah. Tron was before my time. But I'm going to see Legacy anyways. I like science fiction.

I only saw Tron myself 2 years ago, as it was before I was born too. My roommate and I are super-excited for Legacy, so I showed my roommate a few days ago and he REALLY liked it. Funny thing was, I dunno if you heard, but Disney actually had all copies of Tron pulled from all rental places and stores because they were afraid if people saw the old graphics and stuff they'd think it's cheesy and not want to see the new one. The cheapest copy I could find online is 70 dollars, with most of them over 100...and they're not even the blu ray haha.

I havent't seen Tron in ages. I remember loving it as a kid but I'm not sure what I'd think of it today.

Unfortunately, I only knew of Tron, because when I first heard of the "Tron Man" or something on the internet, I had to look up what "Tron" was. It looks cool. Many parodies based off of it.

It's a shame Disney was ashamed of the film. It's not like their recent ones are amazing.

Agreed. I showed it to my roommate, who usually isn't a fan of that stuff but wants to see the sequel, and he loved it. He couldn't understand why Disney would want to hide it, because it only made him want to see the new one more. But whatever...

In my select humble opinion, Disney has made some very intriguing moves.. Moves that I personally believe that would make Walter shake his head. But times are a-changin'.
