| Just listened to the podcast, and I pretty much agree with all your picks for the best of 2010. Batman & Robin was definitely the best series this year, though I did enjoy the Batman Beyond mini as well. My favorite single issue this year was Batman & Robin #16. Almost every single page of that issue was great.
The highlight of the year for me was seeing Batman Under the Red Hood. I was little worried at first when I saw the voice cast announced, and it wasn't going to have Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill. But everyone in it did a great a job. Bruce Greenwood is definitely my second favorite Batman voice after Kevin Conroy, and I'm glad he's playing him again in Young Justice. I also have to say that I'm with Gary on Superman Batman Apocalypse, I enjoyed that movie as well. Its not as good as Under the Red Hood, but it was just a fun action movie.
The point Matt made about the fighting sequences in Batman Begins, and The Dark Knight, was dead on. If there is one thing they can improve on with The Dark Knight Rises it would be that. If they can do a fight scene similar to what was done in the new Arkham City trailer, that could be one of the best scenes ever in a Batman movie.
Regarding the rumored new CG Batman Animated series, Claudie was right. If it looks anything like how Star Wars the Clone Wars looks, then we really don't have anything to worry about. They do some amazing animation on that show.
Again, another great show. Looking forward to more in 2011!

I'm honestly not too worried about it. DC has given me no reason to think they'd put out a bad product, especially in the animation department. Whether it's CG or not, I'm pretty sure it'll be good. -Gary

| Heard the podcast a few days ago but haven't gotten around to being able to comment on it until now so forgive me if I get some notes wrong.
With Hugo Strange in the Arkham City trailer it seems that it could be he is pumping almost with a type of truth serum I would also not be surprised if Strange's Monster Men come into reference since he made big mutant thugs and that was done in Arkham Asylum maybe it could be connected.
Comicvine does do cool stuff like that Catwoman video but the site annoyed me when one of the founders wiped off tons of information on the Batman page it went up to Batman Inc. as well as mentioned alternate universe versions of Batman and movies now most of it is gone I helped put information on that page now I am not in any hurry anymore the Superman and Wonder Woman pages are worse.
I hope all you guysl had a good Christmas.

-Gary To me, right now, and in my opinion anything is better than Brave And The Bold right now.

| I can see why people who like Batman to be hardcore and serious would think that, but if you can get beyond the childish jokes and whatnot there's actually a lot of redeeming qualities. It bases its episodes on a lot of classic Batman stories and a ton of different versions of Batman, and exposes people to a lot of more obscure DC characters. It's almost a "Who's Who" of DC each week. But I do have to wince once or twice per episode with some of the humor and colorfulness.

-Gary To me, right now, and in my opinion anything is better than Brave And The Bold right now. Even if you hate the show, you should at least try watching the episode "Chill of the Night", if you haven't already. Its really one of the best animated Batman episodes ever, in my opinion.

| I have watched chill of the night but I just could not sit through it. I know we are shown a completely different Batman/Bruce along with the retelling of the origin story and I understand why some people such as yourself like it which is totally fine and makes you a better fan than me. But I dunno it just doesn't feel right in the context of it's basis. | |

Thats cool. To each his own. I don't think it makes me a better fan than you though, I just wanted an animated sereis to do this story for so long, and I thought they did great of job of telling it in Brave and the Bold. But the cool thing about being a Batman fan, is that there are so many different versions of him, if you don't like one in particular, you have a lot more to choose from.

| I was originally like Dane and hated the Brave and the Bold, now I think it's just ok. I got vol 1 and while the majority of the show was too silly they had some great episodes especially the two final episodes. Recently I watched the episodes everyone was talking about, chill of the night, birds of prey and emperor Joker and I really loved those. So sometimes that show surprises you, but episode to episode meh. It's sometimes hard to watch, dino island was really hard to get through the whole episode without shooting myself (just being honest . | |

I can understand that; it can be downright silly sometimes. But I think on a whole it's gotten better, and some of their episodes are pretty awesome. -Gary
