If you were to get DC Universe Online, would you be a Hero or Villain?

I know a lot of people on here will probably be getting DC Universe Online, it's looking epic and really fun (and finally coming out this fall!). So here's my question to you all; if you were to get a copy of DC Universe Online (even if you don't currently have a PS3 or computer that's capable of it, it's just hypothetical), are you going to make a Hero or a Villain?

I voted for "Hero" and "Both". Idealistically, I'd just be a hero, but if there's no restrictions I'll probably make a villain too. It seems like it'd be really fun to be a villain sometimes. But I'd probably spend most of my time being a hero.

Batman, Nightwing, Robin, Batgirl, Batwoman, Huntress, Black Canary, Azrael, Blue Beetle, Question, Zatanna, Creeper, Black Lightning and Metamorpho

VS.

Joker, Bane, Batzarro, Black Mask, Catwoman, Clayface, Clock King, Harley Quinn, Hush, Killer Croc, Mad Hatter, Man-Bat, Mr. Freeze, Zsasz, Penguin, Poison Ivy, Ras Al Ghul, Riddler, Scarecrow and Two-Face.

That's pretty awesome! Gotta admit, kinda sad there's no Superman in there, but it's an awesome list!

Well, technically Superman is not part of the Bat Family. It would be great to see the Bat Family take on the Bat Villains.

Oh, ok, I didn't realize that. I saw Blue Beetle and Black Lightning and just kinda assumed it was a mixed DCU list.

That'll be awesome - can you imagine beging in the game surrounded bad all those on both side in a slug fest!!!

Definitely . Hey, this could be the next Batman crossover epic! LOL! Let's see, Marvel had 'Secret Wars', how about we call this 'Gotham Wars'? It will be an awesome 6-issue limited series.

That's a fantastic idea - maybe something we can work on together - publish in the Chronicles?

Yup! It's definitely something we can do together. Here's my suggestion.

We can each write 2 parts of the epic story. I'll start if off with issue #1 and #2, Bob can continue with issue #3 and #4 and finally Gary can finish up the story with issue #5 and #6.

What do you guys think?

I'll work on the synopsis of the first 2 parts of the story and email it to you and Bob once I'm done. If both of you agree with the plot, I will then work on the actual storyline.

I have to say I'd side with villains. Villians are just so awesome.

You know, I was thinking about this the other day; should we make a GKO Hero Team AND a GKO Villain Team? Because I've been considering making a villain as well as a hero. On one hand I think it'd be a bad idea because it'd split up my time for leveling up my hero in half, but it would be kinda fun at the same time. As I'm getting ready to put together the GKO DCUO page, I had that in mind.

Hero. I want to see the batcave.

You know, I've been thinking; we should come up with a backstory for our characters, and a collective backstory/name for our team beforehand! I'd assume we'd just be the "Gotham Knights" or as close as we can get to that in the game (if the name's taken already), but it'd be cool to have all that stuff set up for our characters in the game!

I personally have a few ideas for my character's biography, but I haven't totally straightened it out yet.
