| You may have seen something like this before if you frequent other forums; it's basically just a place for anybody to mention what show/movie/whatever they're watching/have watched recently. It can be as simple as "I'm Watching Batman: The Brave and the Bold Right Now" to a full fledged review/discussion starter about that specific show/movie if you want. It's fun to do, because then not only does everyone else on the forum know a bit about what you're into, but you can introduce people to a show you really like so it gains more fans or even discuss it with other fans on the forum!
So, the big question is; What ARE you watching right now?

| Ok, so I'll start; I just finished marathoning the whole first (and so far only) season of the USA Network show "White Collar", which will have it's second season starting mid June. And, I must say, I love it! It's fun, charming, and pretty interesting. It's now the 4th USA Network show I watch regularly, along with Burn Notice, Royal Pains, and In Plain Sight. You should check it out!

| I pretty much just watch a variety of shows now but for a while all I watched was Seinfeld. Probably my favorite sit-com and I have the whole series collection. | |

Check it out:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SyoA4LXQco4 The effects in that are CRAZY good! Pretty impressive stuff. I disagree with that line before the trailer though, "Would make a great feature film" lol. It's only good as a short, I think. - jondoe297 wrote:

I'm sure you Google'd it and found out about it by now lol, but it was I believe on Larry David's show, Curb Your Enthusiasm. Haven't seen it yet, but it sounded really funny. -Gary

| I just watched the first few episodes of the new show "Community" that started last year (this was it's first season, and it was really funny. You might have seen a commercial for this new show with Chevy Chase about community college; at first, I thought the trailers looked ok but never checked it out. Now, I finally did, an I'm glad I did. Joel McHale, the guy from E's "Talk Soup", is the star and he's great in it. Basically, he was a prominent lawyer, until the Bar association found out that his degree was from Columbia - the country -, not Columbia University, and he was sent to college to earn a new degree before he can practice again. So, essentially, this lazy dirtbag of a guy actually has to work for his degree this time, and the show is all of his hijinks with his fellow community college misfits (one of whom is a priceless elderly man aka Chevy Chase). It's pretty good, it's worth a check out.

| I've been watching through the first season of "Fringe". This is the second time through, and I love finding "The Observer" everywhere!
I also watch Seinfeld! I love it!

| I do the SAME THING Mr. Vulture! It's so fun to find all the extra stuff in Fringe; like the hidden hint to the next episode (which I don't think they did this season), the Observer appearance, and all of those extra little details are so exciting. Like those alternate universe DC covers - such a cool idea! I loved the second season that just ended, too.
And Seinfeld, what can I say, it's a classic. Every time I pass it by on the TV, I watch it lol.

| I just saw the new flick "Get Him To the Greek" last night, and was surprised that I found it to be totally hilarious! The trailer just looked ok to me, but it was probably the funniest movie I've seen in a while. I think it'll probably be the funniest movie of the summer (for me anyways). It's based off of Russel Brand's character from "Forgetting Sarah Marshall", and co-stars Jonah Hill and Sean Combs/Puff Daddy. Also, Brand's character is a musician, so he recorded essentially a whole career's worth of hits for the soundtrack, which is awesome!

| Went last night to see Robin Hood, starring Russell Crowe. It was really good, hardly any cursing and no sex, though the friend I went with was panting when she saw Crowe take off his shirt.....lol. Plus, the theatre only had 6 people (us included), so it was pretty much like watching it by yourself!
It was one of those "men of honor" movies (like Kingdom of Heaven, 300, etc.) that I love. Those movies also make me realize that I couldn't have lasted a day in medieval Europe.....my Prussian/Slovakian ancestors must have either been really "kick ass" or very "crafty". My name (Gundrum) means "Battle Raven", so either they were good in battle with long black hair, or they were "scavengers" who robbed the dead on the battlefield......I hope the former. lol.
JonDoe 297's right....Big Bang Theory is great! I have the first two seasons on DVD, and have watched them about four times each!!
I missed (because of my work/sleep schedule) all of the present Fringe season except for about 10 minutes. I will purchase the most recent season as soon as it comes out on DVD, but I agree wholeheartedly....it is awesome! The reality bending, mind-blowing storylines, special effects (for a TV series!), and the acting is WOW!
I really think it's between J.J. Abrams and James Cameron for "The Face of Sci-Fi" right now....

| I liked "Robin Hood" as well, but I do have to say that I was kinda disappointed that it was marketed as Robin Hood and yet was essentially the origin story; he was only actually Robin Hood for like the last 2-5 minutes of the film. And while it was interesting, that kinda bugged me.
I like those type of movies as well, but unfortunately they're rarely made anymore. Maybe one a year, if we're lucky.
Big Bang Theory is awesome. Enough said.
Fringe is so cool! I love it; I missed the last few episodes, so I can't wait to see them!
For all-time, I have to go Jim Cameron; for the here and now, I have to go JJ Abrams (even with "Avatar" being considered). Avatar, while a good visual film, was a really crappy rehashed story we've seen a million times. You might have seen Avatar the first time it came out a few years ago, when it was called Fern Gully or Pocahontas. Because society's so liberal these days a lot of kids jumped on the wagon and started claiming it was totally original and the most important story ever told; forget that.

Thanks for the info! I was wondering whether or not to see it, I'm a huge fan of Post-Apocylptic movies....but I wasn't sure how Denzel Washington would do in one. He's a great actor, so I'm sure I'll enjoy.

| I'm watching the watchmen (pun intended). The dark knight and watchmen, the two greatest comic book hero movies in my opinion! What do you guys think about that?? Any other nomination?? (and PLEASE don't say ghost rider!). And is rorschach badass or what? He could be batmans crazy Ginger cousin!! | |

| I think Batman Begins and The dark knight are truly the best comic book films of all time (this is a very subjective opinion). Watchmen was also a very good fim but it just does not compare to the graphic novel. Watchmen was written by Moore specifically as a comic, so trying to transform that into a film is very hard. In addition the graphic novel is gigantic and thus can not be fully transformed into film so one has to cut something. This is necessary but also a bit unsatisfysing. Having said that I would again like to emphasize that the movie is quite good and that people should see it. However I recommend reading the graphic novel first. Other films I realy liked are the 1978 Superman movie and road to perdition. @Sergiot0831: man ghost rider is awful! Why did I even watch it?.........oh yeah eva mendes! | |

| I just finished watching "Top Shot" on the history channel. I know these guys are real profesionals, but compared to what we see weekly in batman and green arrow comics the real live shooters just seem weak.... They could barely hit a thirty foot wide bullseye with a long bow. Green arrow would be ashamed. | |
