DK Publishing Launches DC Comics: Year by Year

DK Publishing has compiled the entire history of DC Comics into a single massive volume. The cover looks cool! Check it out:

My wife bought this for me about a month ago. I don't think she knew at the time that it was a pre-order. Hopefully I get it soon

So, I got this in the mail a few days ago. Has a hardcover sleeve on it covering the book. Inside the cover is a little slit on the inside of the front cover that has 2 sketches that are about 8 x 10. One is of the actual cover of the book and the other is a sketch of Batman (also from the cover). Pretty cool little bonus I thought.

ANYWAY... the book it self is pretty awesome. It literally chronicles EVERY major event from beginning up until Batman #700 and the whole Blackest Night craze. It's pretty typical for a book of this caliber but the fact that it's literally up to date makes me pretty happy. It's almost like I have all of the DC history in one book at my full disposal. Pretty cool. Anyway... if you're a big reference nut like myself I definitely recommend picking it up.
