In case you didn't know, the Batman and Robin comment was sarcasm too lol. But I really do like (and have a huge soft spot for) Batman Forever (Kilmer) and Batman and Robin (Clooney). I dunno, they're just fun little movies, with some references and stuff but a lot of jokes and action. I really did like Chris O'Donnell as Robin, and although I don't think Alicia Silverstone is a great actress, the younger-me found her to be very attractive while watching that movie lol.
As to the actors to play Batman, I think they each had something that made them a decent Batman, at least on paper. Keaton was edgy and could pull off the wit of the billionaire playboy; Kilmer looked the part of Bruce, and could do intense; Clooney IS the playboy part of Batman, and did the camp well; and, of course, Bale is good for the dark, gritty, brooding (and pretty badass) Batman we have now.
