| I saw Kick-Ass, and loved the hell out if it! I actually was kinda dissapointed when I read the comic afterward, it was so dismal and depressing. Don't get me wrong, a lot of the flick was like that too, but at least it had a little bit of heart to it.
And I want to see The Losers too, but I'm waiting until I'm through with my college papers and all that. And I haven't read the book yet, but I hear it's pretty well translated to the screen.
Anyone else seen either? I'd be interested to hear your thoughts!

| I read the first 7 issues (a friend let me borrow them). It was funny, entertaining, and had tons of action! That said, I couldn't bring myself to collect it, and once I saw Nic Cage was going to be in the movie, I'm probably not going to watch it either. That said, I'm going to the movies tonight to see "Clash of the Titans", and if it's sold out I'll probably see "Kick Ass".
Millar's Kick Ass touches the nerve of every comic book nerd. The idea of doning a mask and uniform to fight crime and do good is a dream, but this series shows the "downside" of such a venture into insanity. | |

| Nic Cage is actually way down-played in the flick. I dunno if you saw, his character has been described as very Adam West-like. But everyone I know has really enjoyed Kick-Ass, so it has my recommendation (if that means anything to you).
