| Wow I can't belive it's been thirteen issues since the series started. I remember getting issue #1 like it was yesterday. Personally I love the series the first arc with Christ yost and ramon bachs was fantastic and marcus To is doing a great job. I just picked up #13 with Fabian nicieza and I loved it. Red robin is the new nightwing and tim drake is a fun character to read. I just wanted to know what you guys thought of the series. RR rulez!!!! | |

| I love it. i like the way Tim is portrayed, he is a strategist and tries to always be a step ahead. In addition I like the reaction between Tim and the rest of the bat family. Furthermore the bickering between Tim and Damian is always very funny and highly enjoyable.
Considering the art, I like Marcus To's art more. Glad he is now the regular artist and hope he sticks around for a long time. His portrayal of Tim (in and out of costume) is spot on.

| I love Red Robin! Tim is awesome, and has really come into his own.
And Sergiot, I'm not really sure! But you can check out the other threads around her about that.

| Can anyone tell me about the history of the red robin suit? The only other place I've see it was in kingdom come, but Tim talks about it as if it's something bad. Can anyone enlighten me? | |

In 'Countdown to Final Crisis', Jason Todd went on a Multiversial travel with a few other heroes. In one of these 'different universes', he met a Batman that killed the Joker in reaction to Jason Todd's death. This Batman had created the Red Robin persona for the Jason Todd of his Earth to take over when he came of age or summat, so he gave it to the Jason Todd of New Earth.
Eventually, at the end of Countdown, Jason dumps the Red Robin costume in a dumpster somewhere, and the new Anarky picks it up, and wears it throughout the 'Search for a Hero' storyline towards the end of the recent volume of Robin (Tim Drake's solo comic). In it, Red Robin is obviously a bad guy, so because it's been worn by Jason Todd and Anarky II/The General, he reckons it's tainted by bad-guyness or summat.
Either way, Red Robin began as a 'grown-up' Robin costume worn by Dick Grayson in Kingdom Come, and now it's Tim Drake.

| I hope so too, after getting into the Batman comics Tim Drake has become my favorite character. They should do some more appearances of Tm's future self as Batman, I really did enjoy those Titans stories. | |

| I totally agree! We were talking (in another thread, I think) about those "Titans of Tomorrow" stories they did with the Teen Titans, and I loved 'em! I really hope they do more sometime.

| It would be cool but I don't think its gonna happen anytime soon or if it ever will after the future of Damien and the return of Bart and Superboy. I do hope that Tim leaves Gotham though, like Dick left Gotham for Buldhaven (sp?). | |

| Same I really like it when a character comes into their own like Dick did with Nightwing and I hope what they will do with Tim Drake (Wayne). I really hope they give him his own Rouge's Gallery because that would separate him from Batman and not make it seem like they are still some what partners. The Robin has left the nest. | |

| There is Anarchy, Ra's, and the Council of Spiders which is practically the equivalent to the Joker and the League of Assassins but yeah, creating more villains would be cool. | |

| So what did you think of Red Robin Issue 17. I was very upset. I am a huge Tim Drake fan but this issue did not make him look good. He can't make out with Lynx why? Come on! If Dick Grayson saw that he would slap him, Dicks been with almost half the females in the DCU. Then I could do with out a full page of Bruce and Tim hugging on a rooftop, with their masks off. Tim looks about 9 years old there, he should be full grown man size by now. Why do people keep drawing him so young looking? Well I hope things get better. | |

| I agree that this issue was a bit of a let down. I guess with the whole hugging scene they were probably trying to show that these characters are human too because usually when DC brings someone back its "okay hey you're back that's great." As for Lynx they are probably trying to give Tim Drake his own rouges gallery so in order to mimic batman he needs a Joker (Anarky) and Catwoman (Lynx) a Deadshot (Scarab) and any other Batman villain they feel needs to be duplicated. Let's be honest here the secret behind the hit list, Tim Drake is beginning to become more and more like Bruce at a younger age. But you're right you have Tim who is about two to three feet taller than Damian but Damian's facial features make him seem mush older the art really needs to express the fact that Tim Drake is no longer a kid nor is he a sidekick he is a man and his own hero. | |

| I thought the hug was a nice touch. If you have not seen some one you loved in over a year, of course your going to hug them. I'm glad they showed the human side of the story. My problem was how young they made Tim look. I really enjoyed how Tim looked in "The Return" he was a superhero on par with WonderWoman and the other JLA members. I felt like he was taking his place as an adult, A list Super Hero. | |

| I really enjoyed the issue a lot; I did like Tim pushing Lynx away because that is exactly what Batman has been doing to Catwoman since the beginning and I really do hope that she appears more often in the comic series as a supporting character and as a femme fatal. And when Ra's sister appears in the comic I'm sure everything is going to get even more interesting. I'm just so excited to see what happens next. | |

| I agree that he hug was a nice touch but the age of Tim is insane. He looks too young in Red Robin and I think that he looks too old in Return but I think that the first 12 issues of Red Robin he was a very good age but I could not tell because he was not next to Bruce and when he is you see how young he has been drawn | |

| I don't know Bruce Wayne is said to be at least 6' 2'' and Tim is 5' 8'' but that was too big a difference for 6 inches | |

| Just read this month's Red Robin and I thought it was a pretty good read. I liked that Red Star appeared and I liked that they are introducing more characters. There is probably going to be a cyber battle between the Calculator and the former Anarchy which I think is going to be cool. I'm kind of anxious to read more about the Assassin tournament which started in the the Return of Batman. | |

| I agree I just picked up the Batgirl cyber zombies created by the Calculator and kidnapping Oracle. Plus you had him a couple of years back in Battle for the Cowl Oracle the Cure. For a C list villain he is crazy overused in big story arcs. I can understand if they are one off issues but does someone want to clue me in as to how a villain who uses a computer to do his malicious action escapes from prison. I don't think the Bat-family villains have Rouge system like the Flash villains do I'm pretty sure it's a free for all with the Arkham nuts. I do agree however that the issue was a good issue though, Red Star was good and Promise was a nice introduction. BUT ENOUGH WITH THE FEMALE VILLAINS THAT ARE ONE OFFS! I hate that you have a ton of one off female characters like Promise and Scarab geez. I did like that thing Red Star brought up about Gotham doing business with Lex Luthor during No Man's Land and Tim goes 'Crap Squared." I thought that was great it almost made up for the crappy rubber bullets and Tim actually shying his head away from Promise showering what was that. Honestly I don't care how many people Tim makes out with he first off pushes them away and then he covers his left side of his face when she's showering, I'm going to think he's either gay or he's trying to be a gentleman and keep the last shred of dignity he has. Cause that's so easy when you stay up late most nights fighting crime, your best bud is an old man in a comma and can only communicated via computer, and you parade around in tights. | |
