| Who can save S/B? Since Jeph Loeb left it has been on a downward spiral toward cancellation, which I find depressing. I love the book and the idea of the 2 most iconic figures in the DC Universe teamed up on a monthly basis. Has the S/B team-up simply lost it's appeal or is it just bad writing/art?
My ideas; if Dan DiDio cares, is a great writer who doesn't care about crossovers/continuity but just wants to write a good story about the 2 greatest characters in DC! Kevin Smith, Frank Miller, Jim Starlin, or J. Michael Straczynski are just four really good writers that come to mind. Guys who think outside the box and can "create" storylines from thin air (that is not a knock on other writers, it's just a compliment to the aforementioned). Or, why not ask Loeb back?
I believe that with the right writer and some decent artists working on S/B, it can return to the pinnacle where it once stood.

| Your right Vulture... I've been asking myself why I keep getting this title at the moment. I only hope the continuity re-boot for next year brings it back from the brink... I'm interested to see how Dick and Clark will interact with each other... They need to keep the team consistent for 6-12 months in my mind at least then you can gage its success. | |

| Amen JohnDoe297......amen. Or, if they are going to keep it out of continuity, please find a decent writer/artist team to do a good story! | |

| The series has been coming out monthly like clockwork and it doesn't show any signs of stopping anytime soon. | |

| It is consistent, and with Paul Levitz and Jerry Ordway doing the writing/art, I think DC is making an honest effort to keep the series going, and with talent! | |

| Yeah it seems as if they are finally bringing in some good writers to write the book. According to the DC Comics' SEPTEMBER 2010 SOLICITS Judd Winick is taking over after Levitz with SUPERMAN/BATMAN #76.
Superman/Batman is one of my favourite books. I love the interaction between Superman and Batman when it is done right. I enjoyed the Jeph Loeb run, The Alan Burnett arc and the Michael Green/Mike Johnson stories. Unfortunatley since then the book has not had a clear direction and a distinct creative vision. I hope Levitz and Winick can make the book great again.

| I've only ready Annual #4 from Paul Levitz so far, but I'm looking forward to reading his new run. I might have to make a trip to Forbidden Planet on Wednesday or Thursday when I'm traveling to London | |

| I've got to read more Superman/Batman. I mean, it's my two favorite superheroes ever; why am I NOT reading it?
