| They've all claimed to be Superman's cousin but it seems the current Supergirl is his actual cousin. | |

| Oh, ok. I know there have been several supergirls, some that were either mind controlled, from an alternate earth or mind controlled to believe that they were Kara Zor-El. DC makes it really confusing sometimes with all these alternate versions of characters hahaha

By that you mean there has been 3 or 4 different Supergirls, right? And if that's what you mean I don't know how that's any more complicated than there having been 5 Batgirls or 6 Robins. But I get what you're saying, I guess it's a bit different having a Superboy who's a clone of Superman with Lex's DNA mixed in is a bit different than just having a new person become Robin.
-Gary I thought Supergirl was all the same person. I even saw Powergirl be referred to as Supergirl. It's just confusing to me. Batman's "family" is really easily understandable. Batgirls and the Robins, they just retire and become something else, but I always thought all the Supergirls, were the same person, but evolved, or something. I'm not sure. I just like Powergirl. And the new Supergirl stuff. She's a skinny little thing, and she acts cute. What about Superwoman? Hah!

| If you get the DVD Superman/Batman Apocalypse (or as it was called on the podcast Batman/Superman) there is a etra feature on Supergil that explains her history and the different versions in the DCU. It is on my Blu-Ray but if you get it on DVD you might have to get the 2 disc version. There is also a Green Arrow short which everyone on the podcast seems to hate but I really liked it. | |

| I haven't seen either of those shorts, I'd like to though.

What about Superwoman? Hah! Power Girl is the cousin of Superman from Earth 2. I'm not too sure about all the mind control stuff but I haven't read a lot of Supergirl other than the current series.

| By the mind control stuff I meant when Matrix took over as Supergirl, and then she was manipulated by Lex Luthor (pretending to be his own son with hair, a beard and an Australian accent) during the "Death of Superman" era. Kinda strange...

| Ah, I remember the Matrix Supergirl but I've only read the Death of Superman from that time. | |

| Yeah...I don't remember if Matrix was ever actually mind-controlled or actually brainwashed, but Luthor definitely manipulated her.

| Pretty much all of DC and Marvel gets really convoluted, and I think Superman's worse than some of the others (like you say Batman's family is), it's probably because he's got the whole alien and time travel stuff in his books a lot more than Batman does. I mean, the current Superboy is a clone of the original clone which used Superman and Lex's DNA...and that's the easy part haha.

-Gary My jaw dropped. So confused.. Wonder Woman's story is somewhat easy to follow as well, the thing with Donna Troy and the Wondergirl now in Teen Titans.

| I liked the first Who is Wonder Girl in the New Teen Titans but then i think Marv Wolfman kind of over complicated it with Who is Donna Troy but then it was continued in the last decade of Titans' book and it was interesting. | |

| I really haven't read much, so I can't really say. But I know a bit of Superman's history and a lot of the crisis/big events in the past were really hard...
